Kinesiology

Balance energy systems

We tackle underlying causes instead of symptoms to bring body, mind and soul into balance.

Kinesiology assumes that internal and external influences – such as family patterns, diet, stress or blocking thoughts – have an effect on the body’s energy flow and thus also on emotional and mental perception.

If the energy system is blocked, this can result in physical or psychological problems. Kinesiology balances the energy system to enable the body’s self-regulation, supporting health and well-being.

  • Application

Stressful and stimulating influences affect the flow of energy in children and adults, changing muscle tension. The kinesiological muscle test – the central reference system in therapy and the body’s own feedback system – reflects the state of energetic balance, making it visible and tangible. In this way, any imbalances can be uncovered and the optimal balancing technique can be individually determined. Kinesiology is used for the following topics, among others:

    • Birth Balance
    • Difficulty concentrating and learning
    • Blockages and deadlocked patterns of thought and behaviour
    • Stress reduction and regulation
    • Dealing with emotions such as fear, anger, sadness or frustration
    • Psychosomatic complaints
  • Before and after birth

With kinesiology we accompany parents and children through the time surrounding the birth. Kinesiology supports an individual’s mental preparation for the birth, and converts fears and insecurities into trust and security. The body system is holistically balanced for a self-determined, relaxed birth. Practical tips can also be used before and during the birth process. After childbirth, kinesiology is a mindful accompaniment to any physical scars that may exist. Additionally, it supports the body’s regeneration and the rebuilding of energy levels, while also strengthening the self and finding a role as a mother, father or older sibling.

  • Children and young people

Every child naturally enjoys learning and has infinite potential, especially when they experience themselves as designers of their own learning processes. In our current society, however, children and young people are sometimes exposed to enormous pressure. Times of transition, such as starting school, moving, parents separating or puberty, are also challenging.

Stress can lead to blockages and imbalances and can manifest itself, for example, in learning blocks or hyperactivity. Kinesiology gently supports children in everyday life at home and at school. It promotes optimal learning, helping with concentration difficulties, sleeping problems, bedwetting or in dealing with fears and insecurities. Individual strengths are at the centre of solution-oriented work.

  • Babies and toddlers

The gentle methods of kinesiology are also suitable for the little ones and help, for example

    • Colic
    • Sleeping and breastfeeding problems
    • Screaming or fussing
    • Processing a birth trauma
    • Developmental delays
  • Kinesiology check up

Is kinesiology the right method for my problem? How does the muscle test work? How is kinesiology applied to babies? Who should for an appointment when the topic affects the whole family?

Answers to these and other questions can be found in our free 15-minute consultation. The kinesiology check-up is not a treatment. Any further treatment will be subject to a fee and is usually settled via complementary insurance.

  • Methods

Kinesiology uses many different methods in its practice. At Arcus we mainly work with the following:

    • Brain Gym / Optimal Brain Organisation
    • Applied Physiology
    • Early childhood reflexes
    • Stress Indicator Point System
    • R.E.S.E.T.® Jaw Joint Balance
    • Touch for health
    • Birth Balance

We select the most suitable method specifically for you, based on your current needs and the muscle test. In kinesiological work with children, the method is sought and found in a playful and creative manner.

  • Treatment

In an interview, we determine a goal that is coherent and motivating for you. We support you in achieving your desired goals, and together we will search for the cause of the imbalance. Your subconscious knows what is possible and bearable for you at the current time, and it will express this via the muscle test. This enables us to determine the appropriate method to optimally achieve your goal and effectively balance the entire body as a whole organism. With gentle applications such as acupressure, sound, essences, affirmations and physical exercises, your body, mind and soul are brought back into balance.

Depending on the method used and your personal needs, the treatment takes place lying, standing or sitting – in comfortable clothing. Kinesiological treatments support and supplement conventional medical treatment. No medical diagnoses are made.

Our kinesiologist is a member of the professional association for kinesiology KineSuisse and works according to its ethical guidelines. They have the EMR quality label and are also recognized by Visana.
