Our Story
Every person has many sides and wishes. That is why we think health holistically and integratively.
Arcus means arc and combines two worlds: the expertise of classical doctors and the knowledge of complementary therapists and midwives. Because interdisciplinary cooperation produces better results.
With this vision, Michèle Todeschini and Claudia Bettenmann, founded the integrative health centre Arcus in Thalwil, which today employs around 20 people from various disciplines.
Two women, one dream. That’s how our success story began.
They recognized personally and professionally at an early stage: Different medical disciplines complement each other profitably. So in 2017 they took the decision to follow a common path professionally and to establish an integrative health centre.
With the historic “Haus zum Güggel” they had found the right premises for their vision “Arcus”. They celebrated the opening on April 1 with a big party. A team of eight started offering a midwife’s practice, osteopathy, TCM and massages. Only a few months later, they built a medical practice in the annex of the main building, which opened on March 1 2018.
Since the beginning of 2023, the Arcus practice centre has continued to run under new ownership. Michèle Todeschini has reoriented herself and Claudia Bettenmann continues to work as management, head of midwifery and as a practical midwife at Arcus.
When it comes to individual health, there are no standard solutions.
We don’t just fix symptoms, we like to get to the bottom of the causes – by looking at health problems from different perspectives. Because we know how valuable the combination of different forms of therapy is. Especially with complex issues in gynecology and pediatrics, an interdisciplinary approach leads to better results. We call this approach Arcus Linking.
